I had to elaborate on this one, first Hosana killed the tube (thanks homie) and O_6 killed his set.  Did you notice the AACA sweater!  If you don’t know, whatevers.  It was a fun night, actually all the TTL’s at Studio1 was dope.  As we lead to the finals of Beatroot and either keep doing it at the Rred(bigs ups) or move on?  I know the the Create&Destroy is just on some come and chill night, i really wanna focus on the dj’s playing GREAT music and people coming to chill, talkstory, dance, etc…From doing TTL for a bunch of years and stressing about 3 rap acts and 6 producers, money, owners, graffiti, it is good to just do an event where i can go there set up Turntables and then spin.  But, hopefully we can make this night dope.

From Jump: Matix & Lakai

Well back in 99-2001 ish a company called Osiris had a back pack called a G-Bag, the team was consisting of Muska, Olsen, & Ol’ dirty Smolik. Their steez was all Hip-Hop and they were my first sponsor, a good friend and mentor Jeff Oshiro got me sponsored by the local Osiris rep and i hustled and grinded my way to being flowed straight from the mainland, like a box a month of shoes, clothes, whatevers…It was nice. One, because my goaled as a Little kid was to be a pro/sponsored skater, and Two i was doing it not by skating but by the Hip-Hop Hustle.

Ok fast forward a year, Muska leaves and starts C1rca the style of the big bulky shoe is creating a back lash (remember the Mayhew) Smolik disappears (big ups SK8Mafia) and Osiris starts to go tight pants,punk rock, emo on me! So i get a call from the local rep that they wanted to drop me from the local hookup, but to call the mainland rep, Nate Elders (big ups nate, he got my back) so locally they didn’t want me, but the mainland rep wanted to still keep me on. At the same time i get a call from Brad the rep of Matix,Lakai,DVS,VonZipper. and he wanted to talk. One thing let to another and i left Osiris with a open invite back and was humbled and Blessed to get flow from Matix & Lakai!

Brad, this is the guy that believed in me from jump i owe a lot to him. Support Matix, Lakai, DVS, & Von Zipper he hustles.

First Fridays: Enterprise,GroundUp,Chi-town.

Braved the Chinese New Year in downtown this past friday. The place was bonkers. I had a mission to peep out the Artshows at the Loft, and GroundUp. AngryW was posting up at Loft and Koak,Sh.Cas,Ef,Eku,and the bunch at the courtyard spot.

Downtown was ill, all the road blocked off and it seemed that the Dragon was following me everywhere. I was wondering if i bought my M-10000 with me could i blow it off? Next year garens.

The entrance to the Loft, yup its a bakery? CREATE & DESTROY will be the new event here, every 2nd friday. Gonna be super ill. Just good Hip-Hop music.

Observ, A-Woes, & Euk!

When life gives you lemons make lemonade. When you don’t have money to buy a new camera for the past 4 years, hmmm i just use it and you get a cool blurry pic, kind of sick right?

Supported UH Football supported UH Basketball the Stan Sheriff (Livicated) would be the HOT ticket!  All the seats would be filled and we could have a real college atmosphere! Think Kansas, Duke, UNC…what about UH!  So i challenge you to support the basketball team Bob Nash deserves the support, he played for the Fab5, could of gone elsewhere to become a head coach fast, but chose to stay in Hawaii and guide out kids.  Anyway, don’t front and get off the bandwagon and support UH!

So the story goes, a few weeks ago i went thru my daily checks of sites, thehundreds, in4, kicks, fitted, hirolling, of course LS, and Lids…when this time they finally got the Hawaii Newera fits in, i’m talking 5950 steez.  So i click and just about to order the Green with silver/white H, and i get side tracked, and decided to cop it the next day.  Next day, GONE!  only 7 1/4 and 1/2 left! WHAT! So i start checking franticly all the Lids on the island for the fit but they never got dem, also i check Lids.com everyday thinking they are going to reup on the Green beauty! NOPE, so fast forward this past Monday i am teaching at Kahuku and decided to stop by Windward Mall to snatch up a Mochalatta Chill (a vice) i get kind of bored of Lids cuz their color ways are so-s0 and the OG fits with the fat sticker across the top side of the bill are WACK!  I always asume that the workers at Lids are just part-time workers that could careless about Hats.  Well that day i was wrong,  Homie behind the counter (Big ups Chad)  started asking me questions and one thing let to another and he was good friends with my brother in-law (Big ups Todd) and he told me he could help me with the UH fitted problem…one phone call and a trip to the Ala Moana Lids and i come up with 3 UH Fits!!!  Green is Classic, Black & White is clean, and the Black on Black is Murda!

Moral of the story is if you believe you are going to recieve and you pay your due and grind it out it pays back huge dividens, in this case me not getting 1 UH fits, ends up me getting 3 UH fits, Jesus steezo-Fish and Bread!

History of a sticker.

Well, Lofa called me up one day and said PhoneticControl has designed a sticker for us. I was like cool. Then a month later Lof comes with 3 fat stacks of LS stickers.  If Jay Z and T.I. is considered Hustlers and Grinders, then Lofa must be the…dang i don’t know the analogy, Sorry Lofa.

But if you see lofa, hit him up for one, and give him a buck cuz he trying to go to ComicCon.
